Dual mode, always starts on brightest which is something north of 1000 lumens judging from my other flashlights. Lesser setting probably around 600 lumens. Great zoom in to see four square-ish beams from the diodes, indeed looks like crosshairs. Use 34 mm scope mount to affix to rifle just fine.

This flashlight does an outstanding job of illuminating the ground at night. It has an unmatched brightness that makes your surroundings instantly visible. The battery life has been great on it so far, and I am extremely happy with its results.

I truly love this flashlight! It's very bright and I like how you can control the area that it illuminates. I also like the two brightness settings. Being I only use it when walking the dog, the battery life has been fine for me. That is, I haven't had to charge it after every use. Sometimes it sits for days without being used and the battery is still good.
