I was skeptical but I plugged it in and let it run. Within 20 minutes, I noticed it caught something already.
Since purchasing this simple machine, I can sleep easy now that I have it running at night. I'm impressed that it even caught a dragonfly.
Both the silent and strong mode lights are really pretty. I leave it on silent mode all day and it hums pretty discretely and is about as loud as my air purifier.
As you can see from my picture, it does its job and this is after a month of having the machine. I'm surprised how many bugs just disrespectfully invade my home.
For never having to worry about being bitten in my home and being able to sleep a little bit easier (a little easier because everybody knows life is hard), this machine is worth buying.

So I got this on a lightening sale. Still thought $40 was way overpriced but I was desperate, so decided to buy anyways as I read so many reviews on this & other products. As per my pictures you can see I was sadly mistaken and would have paid much more money for these results so I’m pretty darn happy I bought this. These bloody creatures have been plaguing my existence for 6mths now. I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, I can’t even open my mouth to take a breathe without these flying demons trying to get in there so they can possess me. They come straight from the depths below & I am so happy I have a holy weapon against these devils spawn as they can’t have my soul. I want them all destroyed & will make sure how ever much it takes. I finally rid this world of these pests! Not today satan, NOT TODAY!

This thing was actually pretty good. Caught mosquitos and fruit flies and misc flying moth-like objects.
Only thing is that the cord is kind of small-ish. And the sound even in the low setting is noticeable at night if you sleep close to it. But honestly, you can tune it out.
Worth the purchase. Also I see people complaining here about not catching mosquitoes. I think it might depend where you live in Mexcio mosquitos are vicious and pretty smart, here in Canada where i am using this mosquitos are more dumb and easier to zap and kill, so. It's possble you have radioactive mosquitos that won't die that quickly.

Does this product work? Yes it does, and very effectively for certain situations, albeit at a high price point. I had two new plants that unfortunately were infested with fungus gnats, so I quarantined them in a small room. While trying to eradicate the eggs and larvae, I needed an effective way of getting the adults before they re-infested the soil (or any of my other plants). The picture shows how many the trap caught within a day and a half, which is far more than the quantity that were caught by the sticky traps I had positioned on the soil. This worked VERY well during that period, but I can't recommend this as an overall solution if you have a large room and no discernible infestation in a plant. I used this in my living room for a week to grab some stragglers, and while I could see the occasional one or two flying around, the trap caught maybe one during that time.

"My wife has a lot of plants. For a very long time now, working at my PC during the late hours, these little bugs would show up. I would kill one, and it seemed a replacement would instantly take its place. Working from home during this pandemic has had these things in my face (and occasionally a nostril) enough times to drive a person crazy. This also led me to wonder how many of these things are there in my house? Now, I did order some sticky traps for the plants themselves at the same time, but I picked this up specifically for my room. Last night was the first night in weeks I did not see a bug, and it also was the first night I had a Katchy sitting guard next to my desk. This morning I opened it up and saw about 20 of these pests stuck to the bottom. Absolutely delightful."
