How Does It Work?
Three easy steps to knot your tie like a pro
Step 1. Insert your fishing and hook into the "knot fork". Pull the end of the line back and wrap it around the fork channel.
Step 2. Slide the line inside the fork channel all the way through until you see it on the other side
Step 3. Tug firmly so the wrap come off the fork channel. Done. You can tighten it up and clip the excess line.

I used to have a hard time tying the knot. It was a bit embarrassing because my fishing buddy has no problem with it at all. i could spend some time struggling with my knot while he's busy doing the actual fishing. i blame my unsteady hand. since i bought this tool, i became faster and faster tying my knot. not only it was quick but also it's beautiful knot. i didn't know i would enjoy having a nicely done knot. This is my third one of these because I keep dropping them in the water lol. These make tying knots a breeze especially when you're using tiny hooks for trout. You simply hold the hook and twist a bunch of times and make a clinch knot. It cuts up to 10 lb line with ease after that it's better to use this just for tying knots and some bigger pliers for bigger line. I have not used it yet for fly fishing but I will later on. Feels well made too which is of course one of the most important aspects.

Yes, that's the only reason I bought this tool for was the nail knot jig. It makes excellent qualitys knots. I've yet to find a knot that holds better when splicing braid & flouro/mono together that the nail knot splice. It's been used for hundreds of years and for good reason. I use a nail knot in one form another 99 percent of the time. I've pulled 80+ pound cats from the bottom and never had one pull out once it's PROPERLY seated... The nippers are great for mono or flouro but do have a problem with braid, like most nippers. Everthing else is perfectly fine....
